Process
The idea for this project was to create a Moog synthesizer and oscilloscope hybrid that appeared to be creating the music live. First the motion sketches were made that illustrated the sounds of the music. These then drove the design and layout of the device itself. From there, the two dimensional design was extruded out and modeled to look as real as possible. Then each light of the device was rendered out and composited together for animation.
